Customer Interviews No. 3

I basically extended my question to summarize the entire issue of college textbook prices and why it exists, specifically. Before, I was speaking of more experience based questions on textbook prices, and now it's more about looking at why this issue exists for people. I learned that people feel the same why as I do about textbook prices, and the fact that they are too high. I was surprised at the answer of people not being able to afford these books because of their family background and income, because I was thinking it would be because people are spending too much money in other places. I hope that more people will realize this opportunity and begin to want to change it for the better

  1. Minaa,

As a college student that is constantly blowing a lot of money on textbooks and also has other financial obligations to meet, I completely agree with you in recognizing the overprice of textbooks as an issue and an opportunity that needs to be adhered to. Personally, I am spending money on other things like eating out and buying things I want when I should be saving my money more. But as a student, I am required to purchase textbooks, regardless of the price, and if not it is detrimental to my grade. I enjoyed your interviews.

  2. Hi Minaa
This is such a great idea. Books are just way too expensive and trying to find them at a reasonable price is always a struggle. Coming to college was definitely a wake up call when it comes to budgeting and a lot of my budget does go toward books. This is a great opportunity and I wish you the best of luck on it!
