Elevator Pitch No. 2

I really enjoyed reading the comments and feedback on my previous elevator pitch. I think what stood out to me the most was how positively people reacted to my idea, and how much they appreciated it. I didn't think any of the comments was silly or wrong, and I really helped from all of them. Based on some of my feedback, I added a more personal touch to my pitch and talked more about the financial aspect of the company.

  1. I really enjoyed your video. I thought it was great! You did a great job speaking and the quality of the video was good. The only thing I could suggest ( since our professor asked for us to give some criticism is maybe to look more towards the camera like to speak to "us" your audience? I certainly know my video was awful since I had the flu. I seriously thought I was going to pass out during it haha but never less check out my video :) Great job! Thank you again! https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5473709299733917570#editor/target=post;postID=8381122688411018085;onPublishedMenu=allposts;onClosedMenu=allposts;postNum=2;src=postname

  2. I thought you did great on this video! You seem like a great public speaker, I can very easily understand what you're saying. You also seem very confident in your body language which is always a great thing! You also seemed to know a lot about the financial aspect of the company!

  3. Minaa,

I love the venture idea, and I think I'm part of your target market. You could make the pitch more dynamic if you spoke into the camera; it seems like you're reading your pitch, and it's hard for me to engage when you aren't talking to me. Something else you could try is memorizing your notes/pitch then standing up and away from your camera/desk so that you don't try to reach for them.

I try to stand out in the middle of the floor and away from everything because I tend to use my whole body to talk. See my post here: http://adventuresinent.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-2.html We have totally different presentation styles--maybe we need to steal a little from each other!

  4. Hey Mina, my name is Gabe and I really enjoyed this idea. I am certainly in your market in which you really are a great speaker but I just think you need some more confidence when speaking. One way I look at it is as if your just having a normal conversation with your buddy in which you're not nervous but simply just pitching an Idea. Confidence is key and I know you have that!http://gerb95.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-2.html
